Keeping track of fertility appointments and medications is a daunting task, and undergoing fertility treatment doesn’t mean that your normal everyday medications and appointments stop. That’s why we created the Custom Medications feature as part of Berry Premium. Custom Medications allows you to schedule and track all of your daily medications in one place.
What We Heard From Our Community
Members of the Berry community asked us to expand our medication database—which currently focuses on detailed information for fertility medications—to include drugs for other conditions like high blood pressure and cholesterol. Rather than adding these one by one as they were requested, we introduced the Custom Medications feature, allowing users to track any medication they take directly in the Berry app.
What Is the Custom Medications Feature?
Custom Medications allows you to add all of your medications to the Berry app, whether they are supplements, daily medications, or occasional medications you take as needed. Custom Medications allows you to add the medication name, type, route, and dosage in order to keep an easy-to-follow log of everything you’ve already taken and your upcoming doses. This way you no longer need to keep track of doses on paper or in multiple apps—your complete medication schedule is all in one place, in the Berry app.
How It Works
To create custom meds:
First, make sure you’ve upgraded to Berry Premium.
Then, select “Medications” from the bottom menu on the Today view.
Next, select “Add medication.”
Click in the “Search for medication” field and type the name of your medication. If the medication isn’t in the Berry database, you’ll have the option to click “+ add “[custom med name].””
Then, you’ll be prompted to add your medication details like dose and route.
Lastly, save the medication to add it to your medications list.
Now, you can easily schedule medication doses for all of your medications with the same easy-to-use reminder and repeat features that are available with standard medication events in the Berry app.
